shawn's blogBitter Clinton Supporters Send Vile EmailsDesperately trying to bail a rapidly sinking ship, a bitter and petulant Clinton campaign has inundated uncommitted Super Delegates with vicious anti-Obama emails. This is typical of the Clinton's 1990s style, of course. Senator Clinton is pursuing the "strategic hamlet" scenario from the Vietnam War: destroying the village (or in the case the Party) in order to "save it." She is a bitter and angry woman who clearly doesn't care how her actions may ultimately effect the United States in the November election. Under no circumstances am I willing to vote for her any longer. I hope you feel the same. An excerpt from the Huffington Post:
Bill Clinton's MeltdownAccording to the San Francisco Chronicle, former President Bill Clinton launched a major tirade against the Bill Richardson at a meeting of super delegates over the weekend. I'm not surprised. The Clintons seem to feel that the White House is theirs by right. Since Bush has been such a disaster, I had forgotten about Clinton's inner rage and constant tirades when he doesn't get what he wants, or believes he deserves. He doesn't seem to realize that he has done far more damage to Senator Clinton's presidential campaign than he has helped.
Clinton Campaign Makes Obama BlackerIn a move born from desperation before Tuesday's primaries, the Clinton Campaign published images of Senator Barak Obama which were altered to make him appear "blacker": This is a move of desperation and of racism by a campaign determined to win at any cost. Sad, Senator Clinton. Very, very sad. This is why I have been supporting Barak Obama since the start, because I don't think he would stoop to such disgraceful tactics.
Statistical Evidence of the Failure of the Bush AdministrationQuite a record. Evidence of the failure of the most incompetent presidential administration in the history of the United States.
Caught Red HandedWith clips from Penn and Teller's "Bullsh*t," so there is some NSFW language at the end!
God How I Wish He Kept DrinkingFrom an interview given by President Bush to ABCNews about his alcoholism:
So, in other words, but for a bottle of Jack Daniels, the United States could have been spared the onslaught of the worst president in the history of the nation? Damn. Please, Mister Bush, do your patriotic duty: resign and start drinking again! Oh, and take Cheney with you, please.
High-Ranking Officers Demand Repeal of Don't Ask/Don't TellSeveral high-ranking military officers have marked the 14th anniversary of the silly "Don't Ask/Don't Tell" policy concerning homosexuals serving in the United States armed forces by drafting a letter to Congress demanding its repeal. This is very welcome news to those of us who believe this policy is not only silly but blatantly un-American, and damaging to our national security. These are true men of honor and wisdom. You can read an article about the letter •here•. The text of the letter:
