Clinton Campaign Makes Obama BlackerIn a move born from desperation before Tuesday's primaries, the Clinton Campaign published images of Senator Barak Obama which were altered to make him appear "blacker": This is a move of desperation and of racism by a campaign determined to win at any cost. Sad, Senator Clinton. Very, very sad. This is why I have been supporting Barak Obama since the start, because I don't think he would stoop to such disgraceful tactics. Bookmark/Search this post with:

Al Jolson
I think Hillary and her strategists were going for the "Al Jolson" attack. For those of you under-30, he was a guy from Vaudeville (stage entertainment when there were no movies, or few of them) who wore Black-face makeup and sang Jazz. Apparently, white people during the early 20th century found this very funny. I do not. There it is.
Question: why widen his face? Do they want to him to look "Blacker," or make him look like the smiley-face guy on those Lemonheads candies boxes?
